Buikwe District Farmers Association (BDFA) was formed by farmer groups from Najja, Ssi, Nyenga and neighbouring sub-counties to speak with one voice to district leadership, input suppliers, and buyers.
We are affiliated with the Uganda National Farmers Federation (UNFFE) and work alongside the District Production Office to route extension advice, certified seed, and market information directly to registered members.
Seasonal training on agronomy, soil health, and post-harvest handling delivered by district extension staff and lead farmers.
Bulk-negotiated seed, fertiliser and tools at fair prices, distributed through sub-county input centres.
Aggregated produce and direct connections to buyers and processors, cutting out unfavourable middle pricing.
Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) linked to member groups for input financing and emergencies.
Registration is done through your sub-county farmer group leader, or directly at our district office in Ngogwe. Annual membership includes access to training, input schemes, and VSLA support.
